Love to Asian Food

When I lived in Japan, I enjoyed foreign contries' food like Itarian pizza and pasta, French food, Indian curry, Thai nudle, etc. almost every day. I thought foreign contries' food is more delicious and interesiting than Japanese food. To tell the truth, I looked down Japanese traditional food as Japanese food, especially traditional one, is too normal, simple and boring for me. When my husband decided to come to the USA, I didn't have any worries about food but was looking forward to eating a lot of Eurpian and American food.

However, recentlly, I realized from the buttom of my heart that Asian peaople cannot live even only one month if they cannot access Asian food. I bacame a creasy guy who is always looking for super markets which has a lot of Asian food in Chicago!

I think H mart which is one of the biggest Korean super market in Chicago is the best one for us so far. It has a lot of not only Korean but also Japanese food like REAL Japanese style sashimi, miso, sake, soysauce made by Japanese company, seaweed, etc.

I feel that I need more information about Asian food. PLEASE HELP ME EVERYONE!!

Three embezzlements

When I was in Japan, I worked for an investment company in Tokyo. One of the job which I was in charge of was the legal service and support for a company which our affiliate companies had invested in. Usually, companies which were bought by the other company easily don’t have good organization system, so I had some chance to see embezzlements committed by employee.

First, a man who was around 40 years old was a member of accounting team of a company in Osaka. His reputation was not so bad, but he had stolen about 200,000 dollars from the company. Just before we found who was a criminal person, he committed suicide, and died. He left his will which said he wanted to refund us all of the money by his retirement package and if he couldn’t get it, he want to do by his life insurance claim. He left a pretty wife and little cute two children. Even though his family didn’t have any fault, his family lost a lot of money and things besides bad reputation.

 

Second, an around 30 years old man who was also a member of accounting team of a company in Tokyo had stolen a lot of money, about 100,000 dollars, from the company. He had suddenly disappeared before we realized his crime, and committed suicide. His old, not wealthy and lonely mother had to compensate everything.

 

Third, an old woman who was over 60 years old was in charge of an accounting. She had also stolen huge amount of money, about 400,000 dollars, from her company in Nagano, Japan. After her crime was exposed, she was fired and had to start to refund all of the money every month. She doesn’t have anything valuable things like her own house, so her two poor sons had to be guarantor.

 

After I saw these three embezzlements, I found some common points. First, the three crimes had happened in the accounting team of every company. Sometimes, employee make some mistakes or do some illegal things like food poisoning, small theft, sexual harassment, etc., but I think, the biggest and deepest crimes related every company have usually happened in the accounting team in these companies. Second, although this is the case with not only the embezzlement but also any other criminals, criminals’ family cannot avoid being involved criminals. They don’t have any fault of these criminals.

 

On the other hand, I can say I found a different point among these three embezzlements. The over 60 years old woman never try to kill herself even though she stole the biggest amount of money of three people! It might be one of the evidence that old women are the strongest group in the world!
